Sideboard Concertina Nature 186x74cm
Hardly any other material than wood symbolizes so much the wonder of nature. Each piece is unique and unmistakable. The design of the Concertina collection gives wood all the freedom to fully develop its character, its colours, its grain and patterns. For this purpose, we sawed randomly selected pieces of wood at different depths and angles and brought them together to form a new whole for the fronts. In order to fully express the beauty of the wood and the front design, the body of this furniture is kept simple and Scandinavian clear. The idea for the mosaic of the fronts of this collection was born during discussions about sustainable furniture design. During production, wood residues accumulate again and again and the question was how to continue using them. Remnants were sawn at different depths and angles and reassembled to form the unusual fronts.
